Cleaning the Pre-Motor Filters

Clean every 2 months Β Β·Β  Replace every 6–12 months

Foam and felt filters being lifted out of the base
1

Lift the foam filter out of the base by the top handle.

2

Remove the felt filter beneath it.

3

Tap both filters over a bin, then rinse with cold water only β€” no soap.

4

Air-dry for at least 48 hours. Reinstall the felt filter first, then the foam filter on top.

⚠️

No soap, no washing machine. Soap damages the filters. Reinstalling damp filters can draw liquid into the motor β€” always wait the full 48 hours.

4

Reinsert bottom-first until it clicks, then reattach the door.

🚫

Dry clean only. Never use water or soap on the post-motor filter β€” it will permanently damage it.
