Adjustable Straps

Adjustable straps, centrally positioned on the head, provide a personalised fit and help relieve pressure from the brow area.

Start by adjusting the back strap (with the buckles). To tighten or loosen, slide the buckles simultaneously together or apart. This strap may cover the top of your ears - adjust until this feels comfortable.

To adjust the mask up or down on your face, loosen or tighten the self-adjusting strap on top of your head. Ensure the strap sits in the center of your head (following a center parting).

Charging

CryoGlow battery depends on the type of mode being used, so don’t forget to charge it overnight!

We recommend charging 2-3 times a week, using the USB-C cable & charging plug provided – for easy storage and charging, pair with the Shark CryoGlow Charging Stand.

Clip-on Chill pads

The Chill pads should sit under your eyes, on top of your cheekbones – if these have poor or inconsistent contact with your under-eye area, add the Clip On Chill Pads to improve comfort and fit.

Tip: they are marked “L” and “R” – you will feel a click when they are properly attached!

The CryoGlow mask was developed and tested across different skin types and colours. The product is included in the ARTG and has been tested to be safe and effective in reducing fine lines and acne. Please refer to warnings and contraindication on packaging and in user guide. However, please note that results vary based on different skin types and conditions.

CryoGlow uses a specifically designed tri-wick LED technology which accurately produces light at the following wavelengths (approximate): Blue 415nm, Red 630nm, Infrared 830nm.

In total, CryoGlow has 480 light sources, or 160 tri-wick LEDS which emit lights in the red, blue and infrared wavelengths. In every treatment mode, all 160 tri-wicks are activated, giving full face coverage without gaps.

Red light therapy uses photo biomodulation to help reduce the signs of ageing, this sounds complicated but it's not! When light is emitted from the mask it travels in photons which carry energy. Due to their wavelength, red light photons are absorbed in the dermis layer of the skin helping to produce more collagen in the dermis. More collagen will help the skin appear plump and firm, thereby reducing appearance of fine lines.

Yes, the Shark Beauty CryoGlow is included in the Australian Registration of Therapeutic Goods, under the identifier number 511579.

Many things set CryoGlow apart from others on the market! CryoGlow is the only LED mask to date in the Australia and New Zealand to have under-eye cooling technology to help tighten and soothe under-eyes in just one session. Also, it’s unique design of 160 tri-wicks LEDs means you always get full coverage without gaps or hotspots, unlike other LED masks in the market.

Yes, the intensity of the LEDs is safe for eyes (tested to recognised safety standards and are compliant with such requirements). This mask also includes the auto-dim and eye shielding features for user comfort. It's fine to have your eyes open or closed while using the facial mask, whatever feels more comfortable - it won't affect the performance of the mask. Do not stare at the light source.

Yes, LEDs and under-eye cooling are safe to use across various skin tones. Please refer to the User Guide for a comprehensive list of medical conditions for which CryoGlow should not be used.
