Cleaning Modes
Your robot has three cleaning modes. Each is started from the robot buttons or the SharkCleanĀ® app.
Wi-FiĀ Ā Ā·Ā Ā VacuumĀ Ā Ā·Ā Ā Power/DockĀ Ā Ā·Ā Ā MopĀ Ā Ā·Ā Ā Error
What the Lights Mean
Your robot uses light indicators on its underside to tell you what it's detecting. Here's what each colour means.
DirtDetectā¢
Your robot has detected a dense debris area. It automatically boosts suction and makes extra passes until the area is clean. No action needed ā just let it finish.
UV Stain Detectā¢
Your robot has located a stubborn stuck-on stain. It applies increased water saturation and uses a specialised wiggle motion to work on it. After the mission, your cleaning report will show where stains were detected so you can re-clean those areas if needed.
- Works on whole-home and room-clean missions
- Can be toggled on or off in the SharkCleanĀ® app
- Also works in Spot Clean mode for targeted stain removal
Error Detect
The Error button has lit up, meaning the robot needs attention. Tap the Error button to hear the message repeated.
Immediate attention required ā the robot has stopped and needs action now.
Maintenance needed ā the robot can continue but something requires attention soon.
NeverTouch⢠Pro Base ā Hands-Free After Every Clean
After every wet clean mission, your robot automatically docks and the base takes care of the rest ā no intervention needed.
Washes the mop pad
The base automatically scrubs the mop pad clean after each wet mission.
Dries the mop pad
Hot air drying prevents mildew and keeps the pad fresh for the next run.
Refills the robot tank
The base refills the robot's water tank automatically so it's ready for the next mission.
Only use Shark-approved cleaning solution or plain room-temperature water in the base and robot tanks. Third-party chemicals may damage the pump system and are not covered under warranty.
Wet Clean Settings in the SharkCleanĀ® App
UV Stain Detect⢠Toggle
Turn UV Stain Detect on or off before starting a mop mission. When enabled, stain locations are highlighted in your cleaning report after each wet mission so you can re-clean them.
Water Flow Level
Choose Eco, Normal, or Max. Higher settings suit heavily soiled floors; lower settings are better for delicate surfaces or smaller areas. If your floors are drying too slowly, try Eco.
Suction Power Level
Choose Eco, Normal, or Max. Max is great for stubborn debris; Eco extends battery life on larger homes.
Cleaning Reports
After each mission the app generates a colour-coded map showing areas vacuumed, areas mopped, and any stains detected. Tap a stain area to send the robot back for a targeted re-clean.
Scheduling
Set whole-home or room-specific cleaning schedules for any time, any day. The robot will run automatically and return to base when done.
Tips for Best Mopping Results
ā Do
- Complete the Explore Run before the first mop mission
- Run Carpet Detection so carpets are avoided during mopping
- Use only Shark-approved solution or plain water
- Keep the base clean water tank topped up
- Machine wash the mop pad every 3 months
š« Don't
- Use third-party cleaning chemicals ā they damage the pump
- Move the base or robot during an active mission
- Send on a mop mission without a completed Explore Run
- Run a mission on very high-pile rugs or unsealed wood
- Ignore orange or red Error button lights
Moving the base or furniture? Delete the existing map in the app and run a new Explore Run. The robot's navigation is built around the map ā an outdated one leads to missed areas or getting stuck.
